North East Heritage Garden wins award

Poster promoting the PEP North East Heritage GardenThe Pitcaple Environmental Project Ltd (PEP ltd) is planning to create a heritage garden as part of their developing nursery attraction. Already PEP Ltd has introduced a series of features designed to occupy visitors to the facility and more are in the pipeline as funding becomes available. The winner of its Garden Design Award was Gordon Hendry, a student at SAC, Craibstone, Aberdeen. He was awarded the John Brookes Garden Design book for producing the most appropriate heritage garden design for implementation and use. Appealing to the senses, the garden incorporates many expressions encapsulating the North East of Scotland from Ice Age to New Age.
